Why is Free so generous?
Because the goal is "you actually learn Indonesian," not "you become a captive subscriber." If the free tier is enough for your goals, use it forever — that's how it's designed. Pro is for people who get real value and want to fund the project as it grows.
What's actually different in Pro right now?
Honestly, today the practical difference is small — most Pro features (custom decks, exports) are coming soon. The main thing you get today is supporter status and a vote on the roadmap. If you want to wait until those features ship before subscribing, totally fair.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. One click in your profile, no questions, no retention dark patterns. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
Is Lifetime really lifetime?
Yes — for the lifetime of Speak Indo. As long as the app exists, your Lifetime access works. If we ever shut down (we don't plan to), we'd give plenty of notice and an export of your data.
Can I try Pro before I pay?
The whole app is free. Use it as long as you want, with no time limit, before deciding if Pro is worth it to you. We don't believe in trial countdowns.
Do you offer student or country discounts?
If €3/mo is a meaningful amount where you live, just email us. We'll work something out. No income proof required.
How do I pay?
Stripe handles checkout — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay. We never see your card. Receipts are emailed automatically.
